Seeking South African youths – Aged 17-30 for flash mob

Hi There,

My name is Brett Wilkie, and I am the Production Assistant for a TV documentary series called Both Worlds produced by Notable Pictures for TV3.

We are right now doing an episode about a young South African dancer called Leshego Mpe. She is on a journey to discover her cultural identity in NZ and she is doing this by teaching a young group of South Africans a short Kwaito/Sbujwa that will be performed as a Flash-Mob

We are struggling to find participants, and we have had some last minute drop outs, so I’m wondering if you might be able to help us find people. We are preferably looking for South African youths from 17 – 30 but this is not a strict criteria.

The first rehearsal is actually tonight at the Unitec in Auckland’s Mt Albert 4pm – 7pm

The second rehearsal is Saturday 11th July 2pm – 5pm (this is the more important rehearsal to attend)

And the Performance will be on Saturday 18th July at 10am – 12pm.

The flash mob and rehearsals will be filmed for TV. We unfortunately cannot offer any payment as we are a special interest documentary with very limited funding.

If you know of anyone who would be interested, please get them to get in contact with me
