I thought that I would contact you to extend an invitation to attend a business breakfast which I am hosting at the end of the month.
Having lived in New Zealand for almost 15 years, it never ceases to amaze me just how many South Africans, Zimbabweans, and people from other African jurisdictions now reside in this beautiful country. Be it in business, sport, schooling or general community activities, one tends to encounter fellow Southern Africans on an ever-increasing basis.
With this in mind, I have decided to harness some of the undoubted energy and charisma that exists among the expatriate Southern African community living in Auckland. The reasons for you possibly wishing to attend may include the following:
an opportunity to relax and interact with other business professionals in a convivial and stimulating environment;
business networking opportunities;
listening to a quality guest speaker during the course of the breakfast; and
contributing to the forum yourself by making any relevant suggestions for future breakfasts.

There is ample free parking available at the venue.
The cost associated with attending the breakfast is $35.00 per person, payable upon your arrival. Please pay in cash, as there will be no eftpos facility.
Our first guest speaker will be Pieter Nel (Professor in Marketing and Management at UNITEC). Pieter will speak about How to identify and maximise Entrepreneurial opportunities with the aid of proper marketing and management.
Prof Nel has been a speaker at 156 conferences, seminars and workshops in various countries during his career. He was formerly the Head of Department of business management at the University of Pretoria before joining Unitec as a Head of School in the school of management and entrepreneurship. He has also been a visiting professor for a number of years in the USA, Belgium and Holland and currently lectures at post-graduate level in the MBus degree. Pieter has published 17 books in the field of human resources and employment relations, sits on the editorial board of one journal and is a reviewer for three other journals.
Pieter Nel is an inspirational speaker and a renowned expert in his field.
